Tucked away in Rotorua’s lush countryside, the Agrodome is a must-visit for families and animal lovers wanting to experience authentic New Zealand farm life. Start your experience with the world-famous Farm Show featuring 19 sheep breeds, a shearing demonstration, and a sheep auction. You might even get a chance to jump on stage and hand-milk a cow. After the show, check out the dog trial to watch skilled farm dogs respond to commands and get the sheep in a row!
Hand-feed animals and ride a tractor-trailer
Hop aboard an all-weather tractor-trailer and rumble across 350 acres of picturesque farmland. Listen to your expert guide give you the download about everything, from alpacas and ostriches to honey production and kiwi fruit orchards. You can also hand-feed deer, goats, and llamas in this experience. Don’t forget to check out The Farmyard Nursery, where you can spend time with fluffy chicks, piglets, and calves.
