- All passengers must wear a face mask unless medically exempt.
- A child's rail pass is required for infants traveling alone or using reserved seats.
- Rail passes are issued to individuals aged 12 and over, upon purchase or exchange order issuance.
- Adults with rail passes can bring up to two free-of-charge infants (ages 1–5).
- From the third infant onward, separate Child's rail passes must be purchased.
- Babies under one year travel at no cost when accompanied by a pass holder.
- Rail pass holders are required to carry and present their passport upon request during travels.
- Magnetic tickets detached from rail passbooks invalidate the rail pass.
- This offer is available only to passports with a "Temporary Visitor" Visa stamp; non-Japanese residents in Japan cannot use these products.
- Passes can be redeemed at major JR West stations by choosing a redemption date and providing necessary details.
- To obtain a JR Pass, secure a Temporary Visitor Stamp upon immigration entry. Avoid automated gates to ensure you receive the stamp.
