Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Staybook, we strive to make your travel experience seamless and stress-free. We understand that plans can change, and this Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled across our platform, including hotel bookings, tour packages, and activity tickets. All bookings made through Staybook.in are subject to the cancellation rules detailed below, based on the service type and the timing of your request.

General Terms

  • Staybook reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings if the customer has engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or inappropriate behavior or if there is a pricing or system error.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method only.
  • All refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after request approval. A standard 4% processing fee is deducted unless otherwise stated.
  • No-shows or early check-outs are treated as last-minute cancellations and are non-refundable.

  • If the booking was marked Non-Refundable, no amount will be refunded, regardless of cancellation time.
  • Hotel management reserves the right to charge one night’s stay for bookings held on a card guarantee unless stated otherwise.
  • If cancellation policies differ for specific room types or custom offers, those shall override general terms and be visible during booking.
  • Staybook acts as a facilitator — actual refunds are issued by the hotel according to the terms originally agreed upon.

  • Tickets once issued may be non-transferable and subject to entry restrictions (ID verification, time slots, etc.).
  • No refunds will be processed if: Entry is denied due to invalid ID or late arrival, or if the guest misses the reporting time or fails to comply with entry rules.

Activities / Experiences (Tickets, Activities, Monuments)

  • Refunds for outdoor activities are not applicable for late arrival, missed reporting time, or voluntary withdrawal.
  • In case of bad weather, force majeure, or cancellation by the operator, a 100% refund or rescheduling will be offered.
  • All activities booked under discounted bundles or promotional offers are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Amendments & Policy Changes

  • Staybook reserves the right to modify refund and cancellation policies. Changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings unless otherwise agreed.
  • Revised terms apply prospectively only.

How to Cancel or Request a Refund

  • For hotel bookings: Please log in to your Staybook account and go to the 'My Bookings' section. You may cancel eligible bookings directly from there, subject to the cancellation policy shown during booking.
  • For tickets and activities: Cancellations are not available through the dashboard. However, if you require assistance, please reach out to our support team.
