Nishat Bagh, meaning "Garden of Joy," is a stunning 12-terraced Mughal garden located on the eastern side of Dal Lake. Framed by the Zabarwan Mountains and offering breathtaking lake views, it's adorned with cascading fountains, colorful flowerbeds, and flowing water channels. Built in 1633 by Asif Khan, it beautifully blends Persian and Mughal landscaping with the serene backdrop of Kashmir’s natural beauty.

Shalimar Bagh (Srinagar)

Built by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan in 1619, Shalimar Bagh is a grand Mughal garden symbolizing love and luxury. The garden is a harmonious blend of architecture and nature, with symmetrical layouts, gurgling fountains, and centuries-old chinar trees. Its central canal and terraced lawns offer a perfect place to unwind amidst timeless elegance.

Shankaracharya Temple (Srinagar)

Perched on Shankaracharya Hill, this ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva offers panoramic views of Srinagar and Dal Lake. Believed to date back to 200 BC, it’s not only a spiritual site but also a historical marvel. The climb to the top is rewarded with a serene atmosphere and a breathtaking vista of Kashmir’s enchanting landscape.

Chashme Shahi Garden (Srinagar)

Chashme Shahi, or "Royal Spring," is a charming Mughal garden built around a natural spring discovered in the 17th century. Commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, this petite yet elegant garden is known for its fresh spring water, terraced lawns, and floral beauty. Nestled against the Zabarwan Hills, it offers a peaceful retreat with picturesque views of Dal Lake.

Thajiwas Glacier (Sonamarg)

A paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers, Thajiwas Glacier lies just a few kilometers from Sonamarg.
